The cabinets and walls in Amber’s kitchen are the same color, just different finishes? I’m blown away– they look completely different! And absolutely gorgeous, of course.

      That’s correct :)

Thank you for sharing your work. Your talent is staggering. Thank you also for sharing. Not always done by your peers.

Do you recommend sealing cabinets to protect from chipping/scratching after they have been painted? If so, what type of product(s) would you recommend? I recently painted my cabinets with Sherwin William’s recommended Emerald line in Satin and they chipped and scratched immediately and continue to do so.. Thank you

  • Love your work… are any of the cabinet hardware items in your kitchens Sun Valley Bronze? They look like it but can’t tell for sure.

Amber’s kitchen is tdf!!! Can you tell me where her dining room chandelier is from, please? Is it sold in her store? Thank you much!

  • Wow! This is a great post, thank you! I particularly love the dark colours so it’s useful to get some recommendations on those.

  • Hi! So you have a favorite deep blue or navy for cabinets? Love your work so much!!!

  • Light colors is my favorite. That cabinetry paint is very attracting and pleasing to the eye. I do love all your work!

Thank you for this! What is the color of the interior window frames — the one that looks like griege, maybe beige?

  • Can’t get away with how beautiful some of these rooms are! Personally, I love contrasting rooms where one half is a lot darker than the other

  • I absolutely love the colors of the Kitchen, how the flowers are placed in the middle, and the differentiation between the white and grey colors of the dining area. I love also how it just connects from the kitchen to the dining area.

  • What a brilliant idea that dark grey wall in front of the kitchen. The contrast is absolutely amazing. Oh, and the wooden table! Just perfect.

  • Wow, this was really inspiring + insightful – and now I have to hold myself back a little not to run to get some paint and start working on the cabinets…

Your work is divine! We need a Shoppe on the East Coast :)
Do you recommend same color above & below if you have molding, and would you stick to an eggshell or satin on the moldings and matte on the walls (and window box moldings) in the same color, or use same type of paint from floor to ceiling?

  • hey! thanks for sharing about your designs and decorations especially in paint colors! I wanna try this for my next project in Detroit Drywall Services. Great Idea!

  • Your posts help make me a better designer! I am so thankful for your site and sharing so I can continue to evolve and become better for my clients!
