All Sorts Of Places: Culver City
Today on All Sorts Of Places, we’re taking you with us on a lil’ day trip to Culver City – We’re sourcing vintage, stopping by Shoppe to grab a few samples, and sourcing the best finds from our fave local spots. Bordering LA’s Westside, Culver City is a convenient (and charming!) stop for any Angeleno.
Plus, we just recently opened our doors to Culver City with Shoppe Amber Interiors at the Platform and we’re excited to get to know this community a bit more. Let’s dive into how we’d spend a day in this creative little corner of LA, shall we?!

shopping & wellness
DISSH

Hours: Mon. – Sat. 11am-7pm and Sun. 11am-6pm
Annnd while you’re strolling through The Platform, don’t miss stopping by DISSH for a lil’ shopping. One of our go-to places for elevated basics, their linen sets and cool silhouettes are always in rotation. Plus, the interiors are absolutely gorgeous and we’re taking all the notes – Think warm wood, creamy tones, and perfectly undone minimalism.
Formula Fig
Address: 9300 Culver Blvd, Unit 107, Los Angeles, CA
Hours: Daily 8am-8pm
If you know us, you know we never pass up a self-care moment. A facial or needling session is our kind of mid-day break – and no one does it better than Formula Fig. With expert practitioners and an experience that’s as thoughtful as it is effective, they truly #GiveAFig about your skin. We recommend taking their online treatment quiz before booking your first appointment.

Hours: Mon. – Fri. 9am-5pm and Sat. 10am-5pm
Fans of vintage anything and everything, we’re known collectors here at #allsortsof. A previous partner in Round Top, TX for a #CallItHome book signing and a go-to stop when sourcing for design projects, Big Daddy’s is a long-time friend and forever favorite of ours. Stop by to gather some inspiration and shop their inventory – but don’t forget your measuring tape!
Arcana

Hours: Wed. – Sun. 11am-7pm
Featuring wall-to-wall shelves of unique art, photography, and design titles, Arcana is a treasure trove for book lovers and curators of vintage mementos. We can’t stop here without picking out a couple new (to us) finds. We highly recommend stocking up on a few antique books to create that perfect shelfie!
COFFEE SHOPS

Headed out for a long day of shopping, sourcing, or other errands?! Fuel up for the day with a cup of joe from Helm’s Bakery. This place is truly a design lover’s landmark with a little bit of everything — history, coffee, and inspiration at every turn. We recommend the Royal Latte and Pistachio & Semolina Cookie.

Go-to brews
Super Domestic
Address: 10054 Culver Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232
Hours: Daily 7am-5pm
A neighborhood coffee and cycle shop, Super Domestic is a vibey spot to stop and grab a coffee or one of the best breakfast burritos in town! We recommend ordering the Vanilla Bourbon Latte or Pour Over – their single-origin coffee is absolutely delicious.
Menotti’s
Address: 12430 Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066
Hours: Daily 7am-6pm
Named after the iconic Cesar Menotti, Menotti’s serves not only great coffee, but also some serious vintage charm. The interior nods to the 1920’s with classic subway tiles, rich wood accents, and an old-school espresso bar. We recommend the O.G Vegan Spanish Latte, Espresso & Tonic, and Shokupan toast.
WHERE TO DINE

Juliet
Address: 8888 Washington Blvd Suite 102, Culver City, CA 90232
Hours: Mon. – Fri. 11am-2:30pm & 5pm-10pm and Sat. – Sun. 11am-10pm
Serving up bright, thoughtfully crafted dishes with a seafood focus, Juliet is a love letter to the Parisian way of dining — think classic French recipes with a twist and a dining experience reminiscent of the breezy West Coast, making it easy to linger a bit later and longer. We recommend the Pain Perdu, Omelette Classique, and Coquilles Saint-Jacques.

Best bites
Stanley’s Wet Goods
Address: 9620 Venice Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232
Hours: Daily 11am-10pm
Half neighborhood wine bar, half bottle shop, Stanley’s is our go-to for a low-key bev and light bites. Their charcuterie boards are a local fave, the White Bean Paté is our idea of perfection, and the Castelvegrano Olives always hit. Bonus points for the cozy environment and curated wine list.
Destroyer
Address: 3578 Hayden Ave, Culver City, CA 90232
Hours: Mon. – Thurs. 8am-3pm and Fri. – Sun. 8am-4pm
A cafe atelier that serves delicious and beautiful food and drinks with a community-forward vibe, Destroyer is another local gem in our rotation. We recommend the Crispy Chicken Schnitzel, the Beet and Hidden Rose Apple Salad, annnd pretty much whatever dessert they’re serving that week.
Lodge Bread
Address:11918 Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066
Hours: Daily 8am-4pm
Lodge Bread in Culver City is a charming artisan bakery & cafe known for its wood‑fired sourdough breads and house‑made pastries. We recommend the Avocado Toast, Margherita Pizza, and any dish that includes their cultured butter.
Hatchet Hall
Address: 12517 Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066
Hours: Mon. – Fri. 5pm-10pm and Sat. – Sun. 10am-2:30pm & 5pm-9pm
A lively neighborhood spot with a warm, woodsy feel, Hatchet Hall serves Southern-inspired dishes with a California flair. It’s worth the few extra minutes of commuting time, in our humble opinion! The menu is seasonal and shareable — we recommend the Honey Dates, Cast Iron Cinnamon Roll, and Apple Brandy Braised Short Rib.
Thanks for spending the day with us in Culver City! We hope this provided a lil’ inspo for your next trip to the area – or a good excuse to do a bit of vintage shopping of your own. Stay tuned next week for our next destination!
