Recipe: Brown Butter Tiramisu

Brown Butter Tiramisu

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours and 10 minutes
Serve: 8
INGREDIENTS:

1 cup unsalted butter

8 oz mascarpone

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla bean paste

1 cup strong coffee, cooled

24 ladyfingers

Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instruction:
  1. Brown the butter: Melt butter in a pan over medium heat until golden brown and nutty. Let cool.
  2. Whip mascarpone cream: Beat mascarpone, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. Fold in cooled brown butter.
  3. Assemble: Quickly dip ladyfingers in coffee and layer in a dish. Spread half the mascarpone mixture on top. Repeat with remaining ladyfingers and cream
  4. Chill: Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
  5. Serve: Dust with cocoa powder and enjoy!
