Getting to work with a client for the second time is not only very flattering, but it always makes the whole working experience just that much sweeter. From the first project, you are able to build a certain level of trust, and you get the opportunity to know your clients likes and dislikes. By project two.. the communication is easier, and you instinctively know what will work and what won’t! Our team at AMBER INTERIORS was lucky enough to work with EMILY CURRENT, who alongside her business partner Meritt Elliott, co-founded THE GREAT. and EMILY + MERITT, on her brand new home in Los Angeles. This is our second project together! There was a lot to be done in a short window of time (doesn’t that always seem to be the case?!), but the team managed to transform the kitchen and powder room in a matter of months. Now, Emily and her family of four are moved in and loving their bright and airy home. We broke down the key design decisions our team made for this transformation below.
We were also lucky enough to spend time with Emily and chat through her design vision, home life and get her advice on all things business. Check out Emily’s Boss Files interview here.
