Recipe: Apple Pie Latte

 

This Apple Pie Latte recipe is basically dessert for breakfast, and we’re (f)all in. Sweet apple syrup meets bold espresso, balanced by creamy steamed milk and subtle notes of warm spices. Read on for the recipe. x

 

Apple Pie Latte

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Serve: 1
INGREDIENTS:

1/3 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup unsweetened apple cider

1/2 cup water

2 cinnamon sticks

1 inch fresh ginger

1/2 fuji apple

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/2 cup milk of choice

2 shots espresso

Instruction:

Make the rosemary simple syrup:
Add the maple syrup, apple cider, water, spices, and sliced apple and ginger into a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the syrup is dissolved. Remove spices and strain. Allow to cool and transfer to an airtight container. Store in the fridge.

Make the latte: 
Pull 2 espresso shots and add 1 tablespoon of your apple pie syrup. Steam or warm your milk of choice and stir. Garnish with a cinnamon stick. Enjoy. xx
