Recipe: Espresso Martini
Whether you’re looking for a weeknight pick-me-up or to celebrate something special, this Espresso Martini always rises to the occasion. Cold brew, coffee liqueur, and a delicious homemade honey syrup make this cocktail a favorite for the holiday season or year-round.
Espresso Martini
FOR THE COCKTAIL
30 ml Espresso or Cold Brew
30 ml Cognac
30 ml Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur
30 ml Honey Syrup (see recipe)
Orange Peel or Dried Orange Slice (garnish)
FOR THE SYRUP
1/2 Cup of Honey
1/2 Cup of Water
Step 1: Make the Honey Syrup.
Add the honey and water into a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the honey is dissolved. Allow to cool and transfer to an airtight container. Store in the fridge.
Step 2: Mix and Enjoy!
Add all the ingredients into your cocktail shaker, filled halfway with ice, and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
Double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with an orange peel, a dried orange slice, or a few espresso beans.
