#AmberLewisxFourHands is here! There’s much to celebrate about this collaboration, and we’re here to break it all down for you. Today we’re highlighting a design detail that really makes each of these pieces something special — The use of natural materials.
Similar to an owner’s beloved art collection, the collection is designed to be “lived with” and each piece is intended to grow and evolve with time, as seen with the finishes and metals acquiring a beautiful patina with age. The collection includes expertly blended materials and natural elements, such as hammered rod iron, solid oak and pine, and distressed, natural terracotta, with key themes including warm hues, earthy textures, and brushed metals.
Read on to learn a bit more about how the use of natural materials in design make an impact and shop some of our favorite pieces from Amber Lewis’ collection with Four Hands Furniture.
Brently Chair
A new take on the classic slipcovered chair, featuring a fixed linen blend slipcover that comes together seamlessly with distressed oak wood arms and feet. The sloping silhouette allows for the slipcover to drape into a skirt at the base, and with a comfortable S-spring seat design, invites you to settle in.
Ayla Dining Table
Antique inspiration defines this dining table. Curved edges and simplified tapered legs provide complementary details, and the eye is directed to the intriguing joint and stretcher details at the base.
Amira Accent Chair
A subtle take on the traditional wingback style. This armless dining chair features organic shaping in its rich oak framing. Complemented by a natural rush back and seat, with a tie-back linen blend cushion for comfort.
Hathaway Coffee Table
Simple waterfall shaping defined by subtle details. Grain-rich ash offers plenty of movement across the wood, meeting in a prominent scallop cutout detail on each edge for a bold addition of character.
