While there is no exact formula she follows, we wanted to share a little of Amber’s process behind one of her favorite ways to bring character into a space: Velvet. Choose a velvet piece in an agreeable color for your space. Perhaps you design a space around a cohesive or complimentary color palette to guide you as you make product selections. From bold colors to neutral hues, Shoppe Amber Interiors has products for every palette.
Vary the types of velvet pieces in your space. Incorporating velvet into your space can be as big as a sofa or as small as a bed blanket. While incorporating large furniture pieces makes the textures pop, try incorporating smaller pieces that can make the large furniture pieces feel cohesive.
