Welp, folks….I bought a NEW HOUSE! Without sounding too cliché, the words ‘dream home’ come to mind. I’ve been thinking about this neighborhood for YEARS and wondering if I’d ever have the chance to have a home of my own in this special community.
You may ask, “But Amber, you’re so busy, why take on another project!?!” Well, the reality is that when something this good comes your way, it’s really hard to say no to the universe. I want to build a space for my fam and I for this next chapter, and this home is the perfect place to do it.
Since the moment the ink dried on it all, the team and I have been plugging away at getting all the things together….well before the first swing of the demo hammer. I want to take you guys along for the whole journey, so today I’m sharing just SOME of my plans and inspiration as this new home starts to take shape. And if ya missed it, see a bit more of the ‘before’ over on the ‘gram!

First of all, I am thrilled to be working with the dopest team of humans! In addition to the rockstar team over at AID, I am working with Eric Olsen Design, which was a no-brainer since we’ve worked together on other design projects of mine and they’re the BEST of the best. You can see the magic and inspiration starting to come together with these beautiful renderings.
For the landscaping, I’m collaborating with the ultra-talented Ryan Gutierrez! She’s done the landscaping at other homes of mine and I just ADORE her work. Basically, I have built the freakin’ DREAM TEAM!
Now that we have my dream home and dream team working on this project, we’re also starting to pull together a list of dream vendors!!

The renderings of the exterior have me so giddy, take a peek! But I would be remiss if I didn’t mention this additional structure on the property….aptly named the party barn!!! Such a special space, and it will retain a lot of its originality, functionality, and charm as we go through this process. The exterior will have an awesome refresh to pair back beautifully with the design of the house. Speaking of, anyone have a mini donkey hook up??

The vibes of this house are really traditional and elevated, mixing classic farmhouse with refined elegance. I’m thinking French countryside meets a Nancy Meyers film meets #firstnameamberlastnameinteriors. Ya dig?? Anywho, you can follow along here on the good ol’ bloggy blog or my Instagram, because I am just a lady trying to keep up with the times!
