Introducing Amber Lewis for Anthropologie

The day has finally come! I’ve hinted at some exciting news for months now and I am so thrilled to announce my very first design collaboration with Anthropologie. This collection is years in the making and really brings my love for textures, colors, and patterns to life with nearly 40 pieces you can mix, match, and layer. Whether you’re looking for neutral pieces that will compliment your existing style or statement designs to stand on their own, this collection truly has it all. Read on to learn more about the collection, and visit Anthropologie to shop.

about the collaboration

Anthropologie’s aesthetic has always resonated with my personal style—I appreciate the collected, bohemian vibe and it’s something I’ve gravitated toward for years. Its always been nostalgic for me—my mom and I used to shop there when I was younger and I remember purchasing this beautiful kantha blanket that my mom still has to this day. Collaborating with Anthropologie felt like coming home for me; this sort of pinch-me moment where I realized I could design a collection that really makes you feel something for the pieces you’re bringing into your life–to create something for everyone.

the inspiration for the collection

The Amber Lewis for Anthropologie collection was all about bringing together my love for textiles, textures, and layering. The inspiration for the collection came from within, it’s truly a manifestation of my own life. I’ve always appreciated laidback living and am a firm believer that things only get better with patina and age. Nothing in my home is too precious. I’ve spent a lifetime gathering inspiration, unearthing flea market treasures, searching for vintage textiles with unique patterns, discovering the most beautiful colors in nature. I drew upon my personal experiences to craft pieces that create an inspired and unique landscape within this single collection—to evoke the feeling of a collected and considered home that not only looks well-balanced, but feels comfortable and lived-in. These pieces tell the story of my life, and I hope in time they’ll tell your story too.

it’s all in the details

If you know me, you know I have a sharp eye for details, and I think that really shines throughout the entire collection. For me, no detail is too small, and every element was considered in the designs. From the color of the accent stitching on the Keane Slipcover Sofa, to the open-grained oak wood in the Henderson Coffee Table, and the leather zipper pulls on the Woven Ferndale Pillow, every detail was designed with intention to make each piece feel special and unique.

how to style the collection

Mixing and matching colors, patterns, and textures has always been the framework for my designs.  I don’t want spaces to just look good, I want them to feel good. I love to layer and build depth with special and unique pieces to create a cohesive, well-balanced space. Each piece in this collection tells a story, and whether you layer them in your home with existing pieces or are starting fresh, you’ll be creating a collected, cohesive space full of personality and warmth.
