Recipe: Chai Spiced Shortbread Cookies

Chai Spiced Shortbread Cookies

Prep Time: 1 hour and 10 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Serve: 4
INGREDIENTS:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1⁄2 cup powdered sugar

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 tbsp finely ground chai tea

Pinch of salt

Instruction:
  1. Make the Dough. In a bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add flour, ground tea, and salt; mix to form dough. Shape into a log, wrap, and chill for at least 1 hour.
  2. Slice and bake! Slice into 1⁄4-inch rounds; bake at 325°F for 12–14 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
