Recipe: Spiced Tea Eggnog

Spiced Tea Eggnog

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Serve: 1
INGREDIENTS:

4 oz freshly brewed black tea

3 oz warm milk or oat milk

1⁄2 oz maple syrup (or to taste)

1 egg yolk, whisked

Pinch ground nutmeg + cinnamon

1–1.5 oz dark rum (optional)

Grated nutmeg or cinnamon stick for garnish

Instruction:
  1. Brew your Tea. Brew tea and pour into a heatproof mug.
  2. Mix and Heat Milk. In a saucepan, gently heat milk with maple syrup, spices, and whisked egg yolk, stirring
    constantly (do not boil).
  3. Mix and Enjoy! Slowly stir the spiced milk mixture into the hot tea mug, then add rum (optional) Garnish with grated nutmeg or a cinnamon stick. Cheers!
